Hodder Valley Bowling Club

Prior to the 2nd world war the present Bowling Green and car park comprised both a bowling green and a tennis court but they fell into disrepair. Around 1989 the villagers raised money to reinstate the green but have not yet done anything about a tennis court for which there is no longer space. After two and a half years the green was finished and the Bowling Club was formed.

Over the years the club has gained in popularity, members of the club play regularly throughout the season in the local league. The green and the clubhouse are used for a variety of events e.g. the local school hold a yearly tournament. The facility is available for hire.
