Fly FishingThe Hodder which runs passed the Hall has produced Brown & Sea trout, Grayling for which it is noted and Salmon. Day tickets are available in season from Slaidburn shop. Stocks ReservoirGood reservoir fishing is available at Stocks Reservoir which is less than two miles from the village and hasan enviable reputation with good catches including some enormous Triploid Rainbow, Brown and Blue trout. The reservoir can be fished using flies from a hire boat or the bank on 360 acres of water. More details can be found at Stocks Reservoir |
